A large scale augmented reality projection installation designed for huge transient festival crowds
Interacta’s interactive digital hardware and software has set a path for greater engagement with customers than ever before. This installation was created to enhance the public experience for people. Curious Creatures was installed at the Lismore Lantern Parade in New South Wales and the Splendour in the Grass Festival in Woodfordia Queensland. The only call-to-action for this installation was for visitor’s to use there imagination and enhance their experiences at the events. Curious Creatures is about to embark on a world tour of other outdoor festivals.
SUPER SCREENS
FEDERATION SQUARE: Swarm
Melbourne’s Federation Square was transformed into an urban sanctuary for swarms of fluttering butterflies as part of a real-time augmented reality project created for City of Melbourne. Interacta used it’s innovative recognition software to identify people in the crowd and send them butterflies to play with for everyone to see on the massive outdoor screens.

OUTDOOR MEDIA AWARDS: Pesky Pigeons
What better place to experience Interacta progressive out-of-home advertising medium than the Outdoor Media Awards night held in Sydney 2010? Pesky pigeons greeted visitors on arrival and had guests interacting and chatting about the future of outdoor advertising before they’d even sat down.
